Panchalimedu- Simply Delightful

Dazzling grasslands and scenic mountains..words cannot explain, lenses can't frame it, wide panoramic sight should only be absorbed by the eyes. Panchalimedu is one of the beautiful hirange hideout place, situated 5 km away from Kottayam-Kumily route. 2500-2800 ft above sea level. The name itself indicates the legend holding it. Pandavas and Panchali took a break in the area while in exile and hence the name Panchalimedu. Here a cave is known as bearing the footprints of Bhima and a pond named Panchalikulam.

Anjuruli is a catchment area of Idukki dam located 5 kilometers away from Kottayam-Kattappana route.

The main attraction of this place is the 6 km tunnel that connects Erattayar and Anjuruli, passes through the

Heart of mountain.

Ramakkalmedu- where the earth touch the sky

Wonderful hill station in the Idukki district of Kerala. Ramakalmedu stands tall in the western ghats at a height of 3500 feet above sea level. Here one can move up to the tip of the rock and feel to be at the top of the world. The ecosystem of the area largely comprises grass land Shola forest type which is laced by sporadic bamboo forests.
